La sonde robotique Juno de la NASA a d\u00e9couvert que le champ magn\u00e9tique de Jupiter \u00e9tait \u00e9tonnamment complexe et que le monde jovien n\u2019a pas des p\u00f4les magn\u00e9tiques uniques comme la Terre. Un instantan\u00e9 du champ magn\u00e9tique de Jupiter \u00e0 un moment donn\u00e9 a \u00e9t\u00e9 anim\u00e9 en fonction des donn\u00e9es recueillies par Juno qui apparaissent dans la vid\u00e9o. Les couleurs rouges et bleues montrent les r\u00e9gions sup\u00e9rieures des nuages o\u00f9 se trouvent respectivement de forts champs magn\u00e9tiques positifs (sud) et n\u00e9gatifs (nord). Entourant la plan\u00e8te figurent des lignes imaginaires de forces magn\u00e9tiques de force continue. La premi\u00e8re s\u00e9quence de la vid\u00e9o commence avec ce qui semble \u00eatre un champ dip\u00f4le relativement normal, mais rapidement, une r\u00e9gion appel\u00e9e la \u00ab\u00a0Grande Tache Bleue\u00a0\u00bb appara\u00eet, qui n\u2019est pas directement align\u00e9e avec l\u2019axe de rotation des p\u00f4les de Jupiter. Plus loin, dans la seconde s\u00e9quence, l\u2019illustration nous emm\u00e8ne au-dessus l\u2019un des p\u00f4les o\u00f9 les points rouges magn\u00e9tiques se r\u00e9v\u00e8lent en extension et, parfois m\u00eame, de formes annulaires.
